Welcome to Suvadra art gallery one of India’s most significant art galleries, is a key space for cultural production. Located in Bhubaneswar, Odissa, India, Suvadra art gallery is steadfast in advocating for modern, contemporary and historical material. Focusing on a future-forward, complex, multi-dimensional approach, the gallery creates dynamic, wide-ranging and diverse parallel programming. Our programmes include art fairs, museum projects, seminars, artists-in-residency, art awards, collaborations with institutions, public art projects, and more for emerging, mid-career, and established artists.
“Suvadra” Trust organized the opening ceremony of “Suvadra Art Gallery” on 02/10/2009 on the occasion of “Gandhi Jayanti” at Plot No: M/29,SamantaVihar, Near KalingaHospital Square,Bhubaneswar. The event was inaugurated by Eminent Heart Surgeon and artist Dr. J. P. Das, in presence ofMr. Rabi NarayanaRaththe Former Secretary OdishaLalitKala Academy which was presided by Mr. Surya Rath,Chairman of Suvadra Art Gallery,Bhubaneswar.
Established with a view to promote Art in India, Suvadra Art Gallery deals in Traditional and Contemporary Art and crafts. In its endeavor to promote, Indian Art and Artists Suvadra Art Gallery has been continuously involved in creating art awareness. Building up a gateway of Indian art in the world market, the Gallery provides a platform for interaction between Artist and Indian Art Collectors.
The Gallery ensures standards of aesthetic excellence that inherent in its core and reflects through its activities. The Gallery has constantly hosted workshops, art camps and seminar to promote Indian contemporary art at across the globe.
Catering a wider audience, the Gallery hosts a diverse portfolio that includes a wide range of collection of fine arts and crafts ranging from traditional paintings, sculptures, printmaking and graphics to new media and experimental modern and contemporary art of his or her choice from a variety of collections in different mediums such as Oil, Acrylic, Watercolour, Charcoal and Mixed-media paintings in different styles ranging from Landscape, Figurative to Abstracts.
